Building a drone, as someone once said to my son, is literally building a small flying computer. If you’ve never had any RC (radio control) modeling/build experience, then you would want to find a trainer to help you with the basic build and programming of the drone. The MAIN advantage of having a trainer though is such that you cut through all the product research and selection process, so that building a good, solid, reliable drone that won’t immediately crash and burn during your first flight.
